About this Golf Course

MBSCT Swirl

There are some major differences on the Maples Course at Sea Trail Golf Plantation from its sister courses the Byrd and Jones. While the Byrd and Jones courses are framed by towering Carolina pines, the Maples course features an abundance of hardwood trees. The Maples Course opened in 1986 and is the oldest Sea Trail golf course and it also boasts its own clubhouse. There are many holes that border the Calabash Creek and other natural wetlands. Accuracy off of the tee is important if you want to score well on the Maples Course. As with the other Sea Trail courses there is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy as you traverse its fairways. Golfers from around the globe have enjoyed the Maples Course since its inception and many consider it a must do on their Myrtle Beach golf vacation. On your way back to North Myrtle Beach be sure to stop off in the historic towns such as Calabash, N.C. and Little River, S.C.
