About this Golf Course

MBSCT Swirl

Since its opening in 1990, Tidewater Golf Plantation has been considered one of the most scenic, yet challenging Myrtle Beach golf courses. The natural setting of Tidewater offered up a great opportunity for golf course architect Ken Tomlinson to show off his talent. Tidewater offers some unique Myrtle Beach golf experiences, with it overlooking the scenic Intracoastal Waterway and natural marshlands. Severe elevation changes that overlook the beautiful vistas offer outstanding Myrtle Beach golf photo opportunities. Accuracy off of the tee as well as on your approach shots is demanded, as the penalties for wayward shots can be severe. The many bunkers and water hazards must be avoided to shoot a good round at Tidewater. The large undulating greens have recently been renovated with TifEagle and putt beautifully. Tidewater offers several sets of tees to choose from and a course rating of 74.8 and a slope of 144. All serious golfers visiting North Myrtle Beach on their Myrtle Beach golf package should consider adding Tidewater Golf Plantation to their itinerary for an experience that you will want to repeat.
