Whispering Pines Golf Club was taken over from the City of Myrtle Beach in 2015 by Atlantic Coast Golf Management and the changes have been astounding. Whispering Pines is located directly across from the Myrtle Beach Airport which makes it very easy for arriving or departing golfers to get in one more round. One surprising aspect of Whispering Pines is the serenity that you get while playing the course.. With its location you don’t expect it nut that is what you get. There are no homes, condos or other development to distract you from an enjoyable round. The general condition of Whispering Pines is good and the TifEagle greens are a joy to putt on. The course can present a challenge to all skill levels of golfers with a course rating of 70.9 and a slope of 125.
